When i told my boss i was going to watch this for a 3rd time today he went what the heck, ive not seen it once. I think that made he book it up for the weekend. So here i am on a thursday night in standard screen ready for my 3rd viewing (unless cineworld do an imax rerun of everything like they sometimes do).

So going back to me seeing this 3 times in 20 days, when the guy scanned my ticket & said enjoy, i said i know i will. He then asked which number & i went 3 with 1 of those in imax & he laughed & said someone earlier today when i scanned their ticket it was their 6th trip… SIXTH! I mean i know i love me some Nolan & Damon but come one peoples. My 8 pm screening was sold out by the way & not a single word was said.

Trailers were the same as they were the last 2 times which is insane, which when i realised it at the second i then stopped paying attention & went back to messaging people.

& then the film started… I think seeing it for a 3rd time tells you all you need to know. The other reviews are here & here by the way.

So everyone else at Hades is wearing what they wore when they died arent they. You meet them all like that. However Agamemnon died naked at home. However the Aura farming & that armour was so good he had to turn up wearing it in the after life. Unless they buried him in that outfit. Thats the only way i can think hed end up like that. Watching all of that scene gets more intense every time.

I really paid attention to Robert this time. He really does make you hate him & then how he just lets everyone fight for him constantly is just amazing cowardis so much so that the final show down is mere seconds. Now i see why you are all like this is his best oscar chance this year, but can we please appreciate Himesh, because that… that was phenomenal. You go Tamwar, you own it. You are better than Ian Beale.

One of his crew members on his boat who gets through most of the film without me realising is the guy who rounds everyone up for Bane & takes people to Cillian for the hearing in the dark knight rises, i had no idea until i watched it. I was like i know him. I bloody know him. A quick letterboxd later & there it is.

Every time i look at that bloody boat, i get tense. & the final time we see it fuck a duck. Imagine watching that in 4dx cos you would get whiplash from it & be waterboarded. Its insane. Its very traumatic as everyone screams.

I think we are now up to the point with this film that i will be spoiling important film details if i go further, however 3 trips is probably all my cinema viewings of it unless there is an imax fest at some point cineworld for only a £1 addition.

The only reason there has not been a golden buzzer for this film is because i have the hunger game & dune still to come & that i am so nolan & damon biased. Thats the only reason. You all just going to have to wait im afraid. Im sure some of you were expecting it to be hit by now but no… just hang on. If penelope can wait 20 years, you can wait another couple of months.
