Bank holiday weekend & I feel a bit crap so I’m watching my new favourite bitey vampire to calm me down. Sorry Viago you are no longer my favourite, but it is time to watch this again, entirely for the plot & when i say plot i do for once entirely mean Pedro Pascal. Lets do this bitey Maxie.

Obviously i actually watched this recently & didnt realise id actually find it on DVD so here is a detailed review about it when i last posted about this film.

Max’s opening monologue, about seduction, i love you abs & sinking teeth… well that perked me up so so so much it was crazy. Pedro is just smouldering. I mean i know people dont like him clean shaven but as a York Girlie, i like to pretend Max is the undead Dave. Hes as ruthless too.

When hes on that sofa as well with his hand in the pocket… help

Evan is a crap survivor hero, he really is. I know they just wanted to live but that girl didnt need to take him back, im not sure she should have ended up with Evan & its more of a story but nah he didnt deserve her, he wasa twat. His mate who was crap for the entire film was better than him. He was the only supporting cast member who was any good at all.

Office building being perfect for vampires, love that. Im now so glad i sit by a window at work, no vampire is going to come & kill me are they.

Also if Max died (& it was a fuck ton of bloody that exploded everywhere ewwwwwww{also i get the urge but making out with that much blood everywhere no thanks}) why didnt the other vampire he turned who turns up at the end to turn the cleaner, die? Thats bad vampire lore.

Also erm what are head office going to think when no one answers the phone or goes to work the next day, seriously? Its not good for production killing all those vampires, bless them. Also how to you even try & explain that to the police?

I love that Max kept the hand tattoo as well. That always makes me smile.

Yea its still a crap film, but Maxie is so hot & sexy & is not in it enough. What we do in the shadows knew it was good & this knew it was crap… does that make sense. Its worth reading my sofa viewer review for more actual insight peoples &not just me thirsting.
