Film time film 2 in 2 days it is. This one has been advertised for a very long time since about  January ish so i though well its worth a look to see what it was all about.

Screen 8 is pretty small but id say there was probably another 20 odd people in there which isnt bad really. 

Trailers were the happy time murders, predator, Christopher Robin & there was one more but i cant remember sorry people my bad.

& then the film started & it was just poor. It couldnt even reach the place for it to be bad. It just lacked a lot.

I am the generation of film goers who have had the most coming of age, fight the establishment you are special messages. I therefore know a good one of these films when i see it this one cant even claim to be a divergent. It was that soul destroying.

These films are supposed to make these actors & change there careers for the better but everyone in this except for the Dad in get out will want to forget they were in this. I want to forget that i watched it. All relationships felt awkward & a struggle to get through except for the 2 boys who were friends when she meets them.

There were lots of foreshadowing & setting up things & then no real explanation which was good enough to justify why. Like the illness that was never explained. & neither why different people got different powers or if they could teach them to control them properly. & why some had more than others.

Did actually care about any one in the film at all. There was no Katniss or Thomas type performance to make you rally for more & to be a hero.

There were 2 good twist but both ultimately were completely pointless they really were, especially when twist 1 is scuppered by twist 2.

& lets not talk about the fucking huge plot holes in act 3 & the fucking end. That made me angry. That was just so bad.

This film may be the young adult/ millennial coming of ages film that kills the genre im very sad to say. IT was just so dire & if they are going to make these films like this, im happy to stick to mine that are already here.

How the hell can you miss your target audience which you so obviously have people. It was so bad that it will make people want to run away from it & wish they were orange to remove it from their memory.
