So normal Cinema wasnt enough for me. Im sorry it just wasnt. So its time to go to the IMAX & see if i can stop crying at this film. I highly doubt it.

So cineworld, you booking for uplifts at your usual cinema still dont actually work. I had to run the reik of drivign for an hour & getting to the cinema to see if it had good seats or not. This glitch is so irritating. Sort it out. We need this repaired for the Odyssey okay. It was half sold out for the midday screening. I didnt get my preferred seat but i was close to it.

Put your hands up if youve seen the remaining films from your top 4 picks for the year trailers all on an imax screen at the same time… That me. Hunger Games, Mando, Dune part 3 & then the Odyssey. I was not ready for it but as soon as that little click noise happens at the start of the trailer happened i sat up. Someone a few rows away from me went oooh wow when it ended. There was also the new spider man traielrs as well. I was spoilt & for 15mins forgot which film i was gonna see.

When you know whats coming & youve now read so much more lore into it & what was missed out its even sadder & yea lets just say i used half a pack of tissues. Especially when you know the end & how he ended up in space. It breaks you when he wakes up & that is that.

See those visuals on that scale. Goosebumps in places i didnt know i could have them. Stunning. The sound is an assault on the ears but then so are the moments of the silence & tapping. It all has a reason.

Ive seen a few people moan about the singing in this film at one point… erm thats the point. Do you not get it. I think its a nice break & makes her more normal to relate to. Im still amazed Harry said yes.

I really hope the academy remember this next year & give it some flowers. If they dont we will then be having the greatest year of cinema in ages & if thats the case this wont be in the top 5 films of the year. This film is going to stay with me for a long time which is why ive seen it twice in such a short time. Its what cinema is meant to be about.
