Spoilers

I need to watch this before the new ones out next week. I have seen the rest iv not just jumped on the X-men band wagon. I’ve just not reviewed & re watched in the right order.

So the new generation of x-men go on there newest adventure to save the older versions from the original, by sending Wolverine back in time as Hugh Jackman is just too good an actor to leave out of any of the films.

Obviously the moment of the entire is when James McAvoy, gets to meet Patrick Stewards Professor X, as the two eras cross over to try and save humanity. Its the defining moment, everyone knew it was happening before the film came out so trying to work out when it was going to happen was a little fun at the start, then you forgot about it & then it randomly happens & you are filled with so much joy & its what you want.

McAvoy & Fassbender are a brilliant double act they work so well together as the opposites, that it does make them the ultimate frinemys. Both play there parts so well.

& then you have my queen, the woman whom i would love to just be 1% like. Jennifer Lawrence. She can do no wrong, i love her. She pulls it out the bag yet again, but this time as the protagonist. What she wants to do you completely understand as Mystique, but knowing that we all die if she does it makes her the villain. The perfect balance of Ying & Yang. You go girl, go get another oscar.

Then there Hugh Jackman, being a sarcy little shit as wolverine as he always is. Just beating the crap out of everyone. Imagine all those years if they hadn’t given him that part, we’d all so be missing out on everything and the world wouldnt be the place it is now. Hes just perfect.

I do like the fact that they say the lines back to Wolverine that he said all of those years ago, and tell him to fuck off.

Peter Drinklage is really good but isnt used enough, its almost like the people making it went we need this super hero film to be more credible so lets get Peter in, he nails thrones so lets put him in this too. It kinda pays off but id like to know a bit more about why he wanted to create these machines, other than just the threat of mutants.

The moving of the stadium is so cool, even if the idea was clearly someone watching the dark knight rises, just lifting it up no burying it.

Quick silver is good in that kitchen in the pentagon, really good but that was the whole trailer for the film & that was all he really did which is a shame.

No one questions that magneto has his powers back? they were taken right in last stand, so unless this happens before last stand in the future, which it clearly isnt as they go further forward in the wolverine film to go get him, and then also the rest of the pupils wouldnt be ready to fight. Also it means that last stand doesnt then happen if they are all wiped out.

Its a nice morel ending that she decides not to murder everyone and let them escape, especially after magneto had already tried to save one president and failed. Does put intentions of people in prospective. All she wanted to do was save the mutants & in the end she had to give up on her own goal to kill the government & idealists. & then professor lets them all go to live their lives

So are we going to get a new set of xmen films with history re written that we dont all die as they couldnt do the experiments. Is it going to become more confusing now that it already was?

Its a good film but i think it trys to be all the over good comic book, and hero films. Im a bit worried this is going to be the same case with the new one too, i really hope im wrong about that.
