Friday straight after work for one of the 4 films that are out this week, & were starting off with the one that fits in with me the most & the funniest (hopefully) good fortune, i mean who doesnt want to see Keanu as a dodgy angel.

I thought there would be a lot more people here for this, its been advertised for a while. Id say maybe 40 people in my screening. I was expecting at least 60% full. Oh well. Also why do i feel young here.

Trailers, Now You See Me (yes) Wicked (yes) The Running man (yes) Marty Supreme (yes) Regretting you (maybe) Springsteen(yes) so basically all the future big hitters.

& then the film started… This had so much more potential, but it was still fun.

The whole concept is a brilliant idea, showing how you life can effect people due to certain things, its very very clever & how life choices do one thing & then the other. Its very good for moral & yes people do learn there lessons but it could have gone further. I do like that there was one point where it was like actually this has back fired my bad. But i think it could have pushed it more. I understand why they didnt but it just felt like they were holding back a lot.

Keanu’s dry delivery of his line & his humour as the angel was exactly what i needed. Im going to be honest he really does make the film. He also only turns up when he needs to & then is an important character even though its not really his story. He is very good & is the main reason to watch this. Seth & Aziz are good but it doesnt work with out Keanu being hapless & innocent.

This film really does show how the system just makes the rich & the privileged richer & how they really dont see the rest of us.

There was one point in the film where it was like stop ai & as much as thats good it felt a little like it was added last minute to basically prove look we didnt use any of it in our film just to appease us all.

I like how all the other Angels have decent jobs & give morals & advice & Keanu is just like i stop you from crashing your car while you text, however who even does that any more? Seriously, its so easy to plug your phone into the car & get siri to do it. What going on America with that?

I love that it made nuggets & tacos so important in this, showing simple food makes us all feel good.

Okay this may not be the best film of the year or the funniest & it could have really gone a lot further than it did but i still left the cinema feeling happy & smiling & thinking about life. & who knows maybe you can solve all your problems just by going dancing.
