It’s completely off the chart & wacky but brilliant. Don’t let the man get you down.

For people who don’t know the plot, Jack Blacks Dewy Finn is sacked from his own bad rock band. In order to pay his rent for his mate & miserable girlfriend he takes flat mate Neds supply teaching job at a school. When he realises he can’t teach or do anything with the kids he notices they are all good at music, so trains them to become a rock band in order to beat his old band & win battle of the bands without the school or their parents catching on. He does eventually get caught, but the kids who now like him decide to escape school & pick him up so they can perform at the show.

When you read it like that you kinda go really this was a hit. Yes it was. Jack Black may aswell be a big kid, the real kids are amazing, & the music is brilliant.

The songs that are sung are amazing no your not hardcore is a proper bitch off but the school of rock song is just brilliant. It’s nice that at that point he notices that these kids are the future & picks there song instead for the end competition.

I love this film & I’m not sure how much more I can express my joy for it I just want to go watch it again right now. I’m going to say you all need to watch it too if you haven’t & then just profess your love.
