welcome to the second viewing of TENET Peoples some people probably havent seen this once yet, im on round 2 hehehe. Look Nolan deserves it & ive got some exposition to catch up on.

I will try not to go over what i did in the first one which you can read here but if i do my bad, i mean after all it is a bloody brilliant film.

There was about 40 people in the cinema to see this all well socially distanced. Proper mix of ages too. Also i do love that every cineworld screen ive been in so far have reclining chairs thats very nice & good.

Trailers are becoming very samy now, Bond, Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Bill & Ted its almost like there are no random films coming out to advertise at all. I need more random films for my money i really do. Come on studios be brave stop delaying stuff.

& then the film started… or did it… yeah it did… i mean after all we live in a twilight world…

So let start by saying I UNDERSTAND THIS FILM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOP! Very happy about that. The first 20mins do kinda tell you the plot but you know, whats the fun in that. The exposition when it is needed when you know its coming is out of this world & is on a very complex level that you do sit there & go oh i see of course yea thats the case, yeah thats why this happens later. Its so clever. Nolan has out Nolaned himself.

When we have the twilight call in India whos on the other end of the call? Thats my one remaining question on the film, who replys down the phone? Its not Rob is it? I mean that introduction between them knowing is so cool.

This film seriously does benefit from the second view. So many things first time around that you had no idea about, that when you see it round 2 because its not back mentioned is so clever. The blood, the inversion, the meet ups oh wow its so clever. Oh theres so much stuff i want to talk about but i cant because i want you all to see it & obsess over it.

It is such a personal & human story & is lovely, it then just has science & inversion & exposition covering the gaps to make it even more epic.

We need to talk about the music & the score of the film. It is on fire. I mean the attention to detail & the way its sorted & organised. If this doesnt win best score at the oscars then its rigged it deserves it sooooooooooo much. Its the thing you feel the most.

The ending is sadder than you realise on a first watch it then does dawn on you that oh god it going to happen despite the fact you ever see it.

Basically go see this film people again & again & again & enjoy it so much. You really will feel it & enjoy it.

In Nolan we should all trust. He has saved Cinema. He really has.
