12 years later… and now a week later so sorry about the delay to the review guys. I’ve been really ill the last week, & its really effected everything. But im back to about 80% now so am going to try & do all these review updates this week. Starting with this.
Its not often my mum goes to a cinema, if she does it is usually with me & its hardly ever before i see something. But a full 24 hours in advance of me she went to see Bridget Jones Baby with her friend for her birthday ( for once i didnt have to baby sits the kids too, do love them tho)
So got to the cinema & it was about a third full which for a monday is bloody good.
Didnt pay much attention to the first set of adverts obviously. But some of the trailers were good.
first off all showing Fifty Shades Darker (which surely has to be an 18) during a 15? okay Still not sold by Jamie Dornan without a beard tho.
Girl on a train iv seen the trailer so many times that im now invested into watching the film so i’ve got to see it just to know what its about.
Then the day before Brad & Ange split up i see there allied Trailer, now thats a film i want to go & see that looks good & intriguing.
So film time.
It was better than i expected, in a really good way, it makes Edge of Reason look like crap.
When my mum got home she didnt say anything about the film except for txt me once you’ve seen Ed Sheeran ( not a spoiler hes in the trailer) he nails it. Thats a piece of advise i would give anyone seeing this film.
Emma Thompson is good as the down to earth no nonsense midwife.
I know im not the right age group but Colin Firth is no longer a handsome leading man aged 55 sorry Colin your a bloody good actor but your not hot.
Daniel Clever… hahahahhahahah
& i think they chickened out with the end, if they had done it the way i saw it going it would have been much better.
Go see it if you want a laugh people, the original is still the best but this still fits in really well
Right so thats last mondays first film done now for the mystery movie…
