Today September 14 2017 is a momentous day for the year of film iv hit my golden buzzer for the film of the year… at long last. & then I went & saw American Assassin afterwards.

Today was screen 8 the little screen for the preview showing of the film… full absolutely full. It’s an 18 too & it was packed. Had to show my is before I handed over my ticket tho which was odd then show my limitless card too guess so.

Trailers were flat liners which looks so good, mother can’t wait to see that & blade runner. & of spires about 13 kingsman trailers think I might take Mum to see that on the £3 Monday at the dome.

What an incredible film really really really good. Properly gripping had no idea who to trust or who to support brilliant.

When iv watched the trailers iv always thought this is so cool Very teeny & then always gone why an 18. I now know why the opening 15minutes wow oh wow talk about starting off strong it’s proper full on. Of course it’s an 18. Don’t let your kids see it until they are old enough to understand.

Dylan O’Brian is the leading man he really is he is no longer the teen actor he is a full on action hero & he’s the future expect him to be in a Bond or Bourne film soon.

That being said the star of the show as always was Michael Keaton the man is on fire at the moment with his films & he’s just epic. What a character I do believe him & his one liner put downs. I mean strangling someone with the broadband line haha.

There is a torture scene which if you’ve not seen 24 ever you will want to be ill but if you have seen 24 you will love the gritty ness of it.

The fights were believable the backstabbing was in point it is what a modern action film should all be about & it’s just made everything  worth while.

Don’t know why we had to bother with the whole CIA not trusting each other still tho aren’t we past that in cinema now.

Surely the ending is still a little far fetched in the final show down but you know its hollywood.

Over all a really good action films with morals & lots of who dont we trust questions. Its a shame you cant get an oscar for your body of work over a year & its just one film really Keaton would be all over it.
