Going to a film at Friday at 5pm on the last day of the Easter hols I must be mad. Turns out it wasn’t unless everyone had already seen the film this week or was watching it in 3D (pointless) cinema was only a quarter full.
Now iv used my limitless card a few times, today was the first day someone has asked to see it. Not that it’s a problem happy to show it but you know previously noones asked.
I went straight from work & literally sat down & only had 3 adverts before the trailers… well timed. & what 4 trailers they were. Independence Day, me before you, the jungle book & last but definitely not least & the one I have to see now you see me the second act. Gah I actually forgot about independence Day and the Hemsworth as I was to engrossed in the rest of the films.
The Film then.. the Huntsman winters war. It’s solidly average, if your between 15 & 20 & think Hemsworth is your man go see this film. Otherwise wait for it to be on sky movies or cheap DVD rack in hmv.
It’s a prequel & a sequel wtf I know iv not seen snow white, but even people who’d seen the first must have gone WTF.
Also the kid that’s the early huntsman had brown eyes & black hair…hmm that pissed me off quite a bit.
Emily Blunt is a good actress but she wasn’t used well neither was Charlize Theron. Dwarves were ish but I do think some where there for the cheque at the end if it. I’m looking at you Liam Neeson.
It does give you faith in Hemsworth as an actor but he needs a grittier role where he’s not playing a good or someone from the north or a bad accent.
Glad I went to see it but it’s not something to write home about. At least it saves me buying it on DVD. Maybe I will watch it when it’s on sky movies, just to see it I can pick anything else up from it.
