I didnt mean to do this as we had no Virgin TV phones or Wifi for 24 hours but i watch the Charlie Brown on the day i went to see Coldplay at Wembley… yea i know & i didnt even think of that until the song came on in the stadium & was rocking it with my Xylo band.

Im probably a bit to young & the wrong nationality for snoopy the first time round, however hes always been my retro cult hero. Him & woodstock have always been there for me and i really do relate to that dog.

Its an honest true to history Peanuts story, where all your favourites are back and everything goes wrong like it usually does. Peppermint Patty is so sarcy & bossy its amazing.

The school disco is cringe & so is the reading of the book for the book report all the way up to the hand in which doesn’t happen.

That being said I was more intrigued by snoopy & Woodstock writing there book about the red Barron that keeps randomly destroying stuff.

It is good that Charlie dies end up flying his kite it’s a really sweet emotional moment, that & when he admits the paper with the perfect score isn’t his. However everyone asking for him is really nice that he’s actually wanted for once.

There aren’t enough jokes for just the adults really. The one about the book report is good & some of Snoopy’s bits are but not too much.

I’m glad the adults don’t talk & just make noises.

It’s a good animated film but kids won’t get it & there aren’t enough jokes for the adults which is where this film falls down.
