So im hoping i get a lot of my answers in this film from Chapter 1, but after seeing some of the reviews & scores for this im not holding out much hope & i’ll be hanging onto a dream that chapter 3 is like the greatest culmination since avengers ever (okay thats pushing it). So lets go see if the strangers have finally got it together.

There are 7 people in my screening with me… awkward.

Trailers, Keeper (nope) Him (probably) Black phone (yes) Goodboy (maybe) & then there was another horror one… but i cant remember what it was, oooh it had Sydney sweeny in it in a big house (maybe it was the cleaner or the house maid or something)

& then the film started… 1 questions was answered, its all hanging on part 3 if we every get it.

You know i like to say good things about films here, i dont like to trash them i try to find the good in all of them. You know you see some bad films & you go well actually your bad on purpose you know your bad & everyone looks like theyve had fun making it (blood sucking bastards as an example{yes i can always bring it back around to Pedro Pascal}) but this… this… theres no excuse for at all. It was crap. So much so that i am going to say probably the worst film of the year. You all thought that war of the worlds remake was abysmal, at least that was funny & over the top. This is just badly acted, & not full of suspense & not enough plot to make this into the 3 film saga. Just urgh! It wasted my time.

Every chase scene & trust me there were a lot of them built & built & then was like oh okay, it never got the height it was trying to build for you, it just went you want to jump scare… well we will tease it but then it will be the least jumpy moment ever. & you all need to remember… I DONT DO HORROR & JUMP SCARES! This isnt my bag & yet some how i wasnt even like half hiding. Maybe there was one chilling moment but not really.

The flash backs helped a little but not fully.

We spent far too long meeting people along the way for them to either be mysterious for no reason or to be killed off in minutes. Seriously its madness. It gave you no real character development from anyone else she met at all.

The policeman being the guy from Mando who sees Mandos face as the imperial officer that threw me a lot. No brown eyes for you mate. (see i can bring everything back to pedro)

Why go back to the scene of the fucking crime seriously?

Theres a scene where shes at someone’s house trying to hold up in a bathroom. Its the kind of bathroom you build in the sims when your building a mansion, its stupid so so stupid.

The mid credit scene was basically a trailer for chapter 3, which i will drag myself to see if it does come out as im hoping it has every single bloody answer im after in it.

Now the CGI Bore/Pig thing…WHAT THE FUCK! It pissed me off so so so bad, im sorry that was the moment i was like this is just so bad in the worst way. I know budgets etc, but DiCaprios bear was better than that. Come on peoples. Yea that was the moment i fully realised the film was doomed & i still had 40 mins to go at least.

Yea chapter 3 you are needed to make this all worth while. If you dont at least get 3 stars im going to remove any memory of this franchise from my brain. Its just getting worse each time.
Yea probably the worst film of 2025.
