Let’s see if this can be written before Ling Arthur on Thursday night.
It’s summer well may as well be. I had a lovely walk along the beach & even had fish & chips (well not fish but you get me right) before going to see the film. Very lush very yummy.
Screen 8 was packed absolutely packed, which begs the question to the brighton odeon why don’t you show this film more often so people can see it. Weird very weird.
Trailer wise I’m being sold on the baby driver that looks a lot of fun a lot & lot of fun.still not tempted by my cousin Rachel or the apes yet.
However whatever that film was with Colin Farrell Nicole Kidman & Kirsten Dunse looks amazing shit scary but amazing apparent it’s up for looks of awards at Cannes this week.
So the film… was so funny, & yet moving & poinient. It wasn’t just about Anne Hathaway destroying South Korea with her monster. & she’s on fire playing a really challenging role.
I know that he’s there to set everything in motion but we could have done with a bit more Dan Steven in the film just to make you aware of the preferred relationship that should have happened.
I like the fact it wasn’t just a monster film as it was advertised it’s was actually about controlling relationships substance abuse & mental illness. It it dealt with it really well.
The ending was just amazing didn’t really see that coming & was angry at myself for not seeing it earlier.
Go & see this people for a proper good giggle & something much more than just a monster film.
