So ive left the cinema, ive got in my car ive driven the long way out of the car park, around the block then gone back in the other entrance & parked again. All to make sure i technically dont get a £50 fine for parking at the cinema for too long. So here we are back for round 2 today at the cinema & round 2 of Paddington 3. Ive got stuff i need to check after round 1. & also its a cheer me up from Red One.
Screen 1 had about 20 other people in it. My row was completely empty & i got to sit in my favourite seat. Never under estimate when someone has a fave chair at the cinema peoples. ITs a big thing.
I walked in as guess what, the moana trailer was happening. It was the exact same trailer set as when i saw it on friday, which is fair enough.
& then the film started… Yea still bloody special. This is my original review if you click here.
At the start it shows Paddington in the water, showing how he became Aunt Lucys Cub, & as the bubbles & water look like he is going to be a lost cause, the score kicks in. ITs basically the sky fall score at the start of that film. I laughed hard, very hard. I thought it was but im so glad i didnt just make it up in my mind.
There are so so so so so many adult jokes & innuendos & things that do just go over kids heads a lot. Its so bloody clever. But there are something’s that are given a name at one point which i really wanted to hear & i wasnt just imagining that either. They were all named after something specific, but i cant say until you have all seen it.
An easter egg hunt is always so much more fun when you know what you are looking for. It really is. I ticked 4 off my list that i thought were there & there was some really good foreshadowing too for all sorts of stuff. They really always do such an amazing job.
There was a couple a few seats away who when Simon Farnaby turned up went woohoo. I laughed at that, cos that is also so me too. He is our little lucky token.
The Queen cameo is a blink & you miss it but it is very good.
It really does show what we brits are like these films. From the family dynamic, to the growing up, to our attitude & how we all are on family holidays. Its a proper reflection.
Yea still amazing, still sweet, fun, beautiful & a lovely little story. If you dont laugh & cry at the Paddington films you are dead inside. Im sorry you just are.
