with Black Widow now given a November release date (have finished this review well after Black Widow has been pushed back again) , watching this with my parents will finally mean they have watched all of the mcu… ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i know. So lets see what spidy has got ( i know obviously but they dont ) & i cant wait to go egg hunting… Oh & watch some master baddies at work.

Its bloody brilliant. It really is. ITs th perfect light relief after Endgame to watch & just go & breathe at. The stakes are high enough for you to be concerned & go oh god now what spidy, but you always know hes going to get out some how.

Ooooh ive waited along time to talk about the 2 end credit scenes so were doing this first (i do always warn you spoilers at the start so…)
First of all its the fact that MJ hates the flying & is like yeah no more mate thats not happening again, love it so is. & then the fact that the people in Madison square garden are just like oh its Spiderman. & then the J Johannes ahhhhhhh i really didnt see that coming. I still remember the noise in the cinema at that of everyone basically going FUCK ME WERE GETTING A MULTIVERSE PROPERLY! That was intense & then the spiderman revel that it is Peter Parker & hes been framed for Becks death…. oh wow. IT really is enough to keep you asking more questions & want phase for ASAP.
& then the second scene… Id picked up on hints when i first saw the film when they were chatting Kree, but to actually really do that was just like omfg!!! BEN HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT!!!! I am up for the secret invasion if we ever get it (by the way we now know that we are) but how long has fury been in space & how long has fury been Talos…. AHAHAAHHAAHAHHAH! Its bloody amazing. As a proud member of Team Skrull i bloody loved this, it just makes me smile.
Its also bloody beautiful that she saves her husband earlier on in the film so cute.
Also they quote the line about surfing & that looks can be deceiving. Ive been bloody saying that for almost 18 months (now its more like 22months) & that theres a something huge hidden in the MCU & this just confirms in. My nerdy Skrull fan girl mind went AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Right now i cant get onto the actual film now ive done the end of it.
Tom Holland is bloody coming into his own now. Okay it is hard to see him as a kid, but i guess its like grease & mean girls, if you believe it enough it just works that they are all teenagers & kids. I love how they just make it all so awkward too being a teenager, which is what some films dont do but it really makes them feel it.

Especially when they are all staring with the epic Mr Gyllenhaal. I always sit here & shout Jakes Praises, but this was so not what he normally does & its was bloody brilliant. The turn was perfect, the ego was perfect, the twist oooh it was all just too good. A man who i adore make me want to stand up & scream fuck you at him when he says to Peter if you were better maybe Tony would still be alive. I just want to punch him in his multiverse face at that point. He deserves it & he should rot for saying those lines. Thats how good he is.

I love all of Mysterios crew too & how they are all ex Stark employees & that some of them you see from earlier films & how its all linked together. They are a proper team & i love there dedication & hard work. I was sitting there watching the bar going like why is no one telling the world that spiderman (night monkey) is here. & then the reveal was like oh wow oh wow. Irt was so clever & i loved it.

So i know that theres a drone take over of London like everywhere else in Europe, however you cant just run into the tower of London quiet like that & hide in a vault. It doesnt work. Okay ive not actually been into the tower since i was about 16 but no way even in a large scale attack would you be able to do that. I mean walking past it if you are kinds staring at it too long people start looking at you thinking are you okay is everything good here love.

The elementals are clever before you dont know they are drones & then even better when you do. What an idea. Why has no one done that on that kind of a scale before its amazing.

I love how everyone in Holland is so friendly. Its kinda true to. Its not just a stereo type wither, every Dutch person ive ever met is lovely too.

I like how most of the kids in spidermans year at school blipped out too, so that it was only kids who were younger who had joined, what a coincidence.

EDITH is a brilliant addition & im sure in the next spiderman we will get to know a bit more about her functions too.

Oh the bit where Nick Fury quotes Star Wars at him I laugh so much at that. & also Bitch please youve been to space.

The whole CGI visions bit is stunning the art work & design to that, its going to work so perfectly with a multiverse, its going to be beautiful & magical & scary & i am so soo SOOOO up for it.

oooh look baby goats awwww. I love that fact he tried to kill his class mates.

The kiss between Peter & MJ they do make so awkward but it is amazing. ITs a proper oh yay at last spiderman has got the girl. Its nice especially after there awkward date earlier & when he gets changed in her room.

I like the heart to heart Happy has with him in the plane ( & that his password is PASWORD) Its a proper Tom Holland & Spiderman are the future of the MCU you need to back this kid now.

Theres a bit at the end when something in new york is being built & its say 1,2,3 4? we cant wait to show you whats coming next…. its basically teasing phase 4 of the MCU which we now know what we are getting ( i think pandemic pending). But i love that, isat there in the cinema first time round seeing that going omfg.

Its the perfect feel good way to sign off phase 3. But it still leaves a lot of questions & leaves you wanting Phase 4. Spiderman is going to be the future of the MCU & its going to be glorious & the world really will appreciate the talent of Tom Holland.

& we get more Skrulls too.
