Turns out I did my maths wrong with Dunkirk as I counted a film from Worthing in my count so this is my last film I have to pay for apologies people.

It was an eventful time getting to the cinema let’s say that. So it’s August & should be a nice warm sunny summer, nope no no not in Brighton. It’s decided to rain cats dogs pigeons hamsters you name it. So I walked to the cinema from my office via my car park under the back of boots as it’s sheltered through Churchill square into their car park & then the ramped bit by the Brighton centre to make sure that I was only out in the torrential down pour for all of 4mins. Still got drenched.

Screen 8 was nearly full as it was raining which was nice for a change it’s quite often it’s just me in there. Also no one came to tell me off for using my phone during the adverts.

Did have to tell the couple nearest to me during the film to stop talking about there lives while watching the film someone else had a go as well at them. It didn’t stop them but I wasn’t going to miss part of the film to tell a member of staff that there was disruption in my film. Kinda defeats the point really.

Trailer wise Goodbye Christopher Robin looks really really good cue possible Oscar nomination for Donal.  & I can’t tell you what the other two trailers were sorry I was a bit shocked at there only being 3 too. Oh i remember Detroit was one yea that looks good too.

So I went to see the film knowing that what happens in it actually happened in real life to these people… oh man.

It was hysterical it was sad it was loving it was awkward it is what real life is which rom coms do sometimes miss the point of. They just go for the giggles & romance & miss the spark in-between… which if you’ve watched the film you will realise is very real.

All the arranged marriage girls hundreds upon hundreds it’s just mad.

I like the fact it mirrors I know that’s kinda a spoiler but you know it’s real life you can google this.

Gupta from Angelos was in it & I kicked myself when I got home & realised I spent the majority of the film going I know him but who is he.

I don’t do rom coms that often anymore but this ones swaying my opinion back towards them. It was a truly funny & lovely laugh.

I think it can be summed up by the audiences reception when the credits started everyone just went awwwwwwwww. Enough said.
