Tale as old as time, true as it can be. Time to take mama to the cinema to watch the live action version of beauty & the beast. Something’s that has been 23 years in the making. Ever since I was given the original for being such a rave big sister & having a new little sister in the family. Should point out that littleun was invited to watch it with us but she’s taking a friend to see it. Papa also said no.

We headed to the dome as I don’t expect my mum to spend a fortune to see it at the odeon. That’s just not cricket. I would say it was nearly 60% full which for a late Sunday evening show is pretty good when everyone has work the next day. No kids either well not little ones although when we got there, there was a group leaving & all of their kids were dressed as Disney princesses so cute. I never had a Disney princes dress I’m now very jealous.

They’ve put newer padding on the chairs in the dome. They were much more comfortable. Mama had never ( I know wtf) been in the dome to see a film before so she didn’t notice the difference. She did say her bum went dead at one point tho.

Advert wise apart from guardians there’s nothing really to right home about I’m not going to go & see the power rangers or the boss baby nope no thanks. There wasn’t a trailer for despicable 3 either wtf is going on.

So the film. None of my mates really want to see it as they don’t want there memory of the original ruined or they don’t like Emma Watson… well that’s there hard luck for not going. It was everything I wanted it to be & needed it to be. I don’t care if iv been sucked in by a sugar coated Disney effect I fucking loved it.

They had to get the dance & the song right in the ball room it’s so iconic & as it finished I just felt a little tear run down my face out of pure joy that it was perfect. I wanted to stand up & applause but felt a little out of place by doing that.

Can I just say that if we’re looking for Bond that Luke Evans name should be mentioned as well please. He’s the right age & is a little sinister even in his good guy roles so he would do well. Obviously I’d prefer one of the Tom’s over him but  I’m not picky.

The old songs were amazing especially be our guest & gaston (I still can’t look at Josh Gad tho due to Olaf) & the new songs were all amazing too.

The castle was the beasts in the opening credits I was so happy with that.

Mum when she left said I forgot it was mcgregor as lumeir until the revel & I just face palmed. Oh love

I need to stop typing now due to the fact that if I continue I will break my rule & give away to much of this film. You all need to go & see it & enjoy the magic of Disney at its best.

Well done Disney you nailed it completely.
