Spoilers

Time to play catch up then. Yep i have never seen this to my shame i am so sorry people i really am but you know. So lets make good & see if Ryan Reynolds Anti Super Hero really is the best thing since sliced bread.

Synopsis is that Wade Wilson has met the love of his life a hooker called Vanessa & after a year of hanging out in bars with her & having sex with her, he receives the news that he has cancer… like everywhere & she confesses her love for him then leaves. In order to try & cure him he agrees to tryout some new magical mutation cure on him. After being tortured for this to take effect, he turns into an invincible human being with regrowth of limbs being able to be shot with out dieing but looks hideous. Angry at his new look & the way he & the other experimental people were treated he goes on a rampage of revenge to find the guy in charge Francis. He chooses the name Deadpool as its a pool as to who will be the first regular to be murdered in the main bar which they all have bets on which his friend owns who always put his money on Wade. Eventually after meeting some of the Xmen who try to help him change his ways, he finds Francis for the cure but he has Vanessa. They have an epic super hero fight which is standard & he eventually save Vanessa & Francis dies. Vanessa is pissed at Deadpool for being so selfish & for goign away before then he points out that she left him & says that his new scared body is hideous, before saying she forgives him & they end up happily deadpool after…

ahhhhh nice romantic story really isnt it hahahaahhaahah. Oh theres a lot of blood violence & bad language & the 4th wall is broken alot.

Ryan Reynolds absolutely nails it, in every kind of respect with this film. His crassness, rudeness, the 4th wall & just being basically the inner voice inside your head when you go no i cant say that to someone they would kill me but he says it. Some of his pop-culture references are also amazing & epic & just what you want from Deadpool. I’m so glad he actually got to do the Deadpool that he wanted to & it is filled with so much love & respect. Its just an amazing performance & breaks new super hero grounds & makes you wish a few more super hero films were rated r or 15/18 in the uk.

Ed Skrein is a generic English bad guy obviously (its mentioned too) but he does have to act his socks off as the villain to make this work. Remember my life lesson you are only as good a hero in your film because your villain makes you it. Ed does step it up, okay it could have gone to a few other people ahead of him but he does it well.

I love that car blockade fight scene, its really something special it really is. It makes the film stand out, especially when you are counting those bullets with him to check its still okay. Its really good & thats where their budget went on that 10 minute bit.

I like the fact the bar has bets for whos going to be killed & by whom first & thats where he gets his name from. His friend is bad for a) wanting Wade dead & b) always giving up information on him hes not a very good friend. I do understand why tho.

I also like the fact that they joke they cant get all the Xmen so they joke about the couple they do get all the time & that they try to make him become a better human & to use his powers for good not just vengeance.

His healing powers are epic, but its so fun watching all the limbs grow back & the fact he pics red so his blood will just not show haaaaaaaaa.

Its bloody hilarious & well worth a watch. My mama at the end of it sat there & went now that a superhero franchise i can get on board with. Im kinda proud of that. Bring on Deadpool 2.
