Everything is awesome… film time peoples
Im planning on having a bumper film week with at least 3 in 5 days so if these all come up on here at odd time my bad. So lets start of with something that should please everyone & progressively over the week get even more weird as we go along.
Screen 3 was half full i’d say. I raised the average age quite a bit if im honest. Mainly familys with smaller kids & not teenagers on their own. But meh who cares. I go to see a film not socialise.
Trails we had the Missing Link that looks so odd, Dumbo, Instant Family, The Kid Who would Be King & Secret Life of Pets part 2 all solid you know good family friendly trailers. Nothing to worry about really.
& then the film started… Everythings not as Awesome as the first one was. It was still good i cant deny that but it wasnt as good as the first, some of the magic had gone.
Its still has a very clever story line & morals & is original enough to stand out against other animations but it just lacked some of the spirit the first one had.

… okay youve caught up or have seen the first which is good so spoiler if not, im glad they kept the real world aspect in it still, that was very good & cleaver, but that wasnt the massive twist in this one. I’m glad their still was a twist & it was so oh man why did i not see that coming its bloody obvious now i know, but it was still a big payoff.
Bruce Willis is EPIC!!!!!!!!!!! Id say hes the second best thing about the film.
Best thing about the film is anything that Lego Batman does or references or plagiarises, especially the Keaton & Kilmer Shout Outs haha love that.
The Raptors being named after all the scifi & action heros & the one they forget is an brilliant shout. Whoever came up with that deserves raise.
This songs going to get stuck inside your head, is really irritating. i know thats the point, but its nowhere near as good as everything is awesome. Kids will love it as its stupid, but nah its not for me.
Good morals for kids both in the lego world & real world to inspire them. Some will just go meh but they are all important.
Theres enough jokes in their for adults too which is good, i did feel like i was having more of a laugh & good time watching it that the target audience of 8 to 14 year olds.
It is a good film, but its not awesome & the first one was. I kind of hope they just keep making Lego Batman films, than just these as Lego Batman is the best.
