Thinking this is the best tag line for donkeys years i really am loving it so much its in the title of the review hehe

Time to get a little bit more festive with a Christmas film. I should point out ive not seen any other Nativity films & this is number 4 so i have no idea what to expect at all.

It was me & about 15 other people in screen 6 which was quite nice for a friday afternoon at 4:45 not bad at all.

Trailers where, Ralph, Spiderman, A king Arthur film about a kid, Mary Poppins & Lego movie 2. I never understand why there are so many adverts & trailers before a kids film. Its a complete waste of time really. I dont get it.

& then the film started… & lets be honest it was a little bit crap, but it was everything British & Christmas so it made complete sense.

It was way to over the top, like everything as taken to the extreme & was too much. It took way to long to get to the ending, that we all knew was going to happen, even a 2 year old could see where we were going. & then when we did get to that point it was then very drawn out & like really im still here doing this oh okay then…

Lots of very clever sub plots about how the word has changed & lots of different tangents that you had to remember for the end for the pay off. Brilliant for an adult really was, but for a child under the age of 12 whos probably the target audience, too many to remember to make the pay off work.

Some really good life lessons & morals too too, about the kindness of others & whats really important in life. The problem is the people who this film would be aimed at wouldnt actually take their children to see this or wouldnt notice it being aimed at them at all, which does make me a little sad.

Im glad the trailer actually doesnt have that much to do with the film, it was nice to be surprised & sit there & go oh okay were doing this bit are we. Oh okay then, that was nice & refreshing especially so many kids films where they basically tell you whats going to happen in it.

Theres a kitchen scene which is amazing just watch this for that

The end nativity even though it was a little long was bloody good. I would go & see that i really would if someone was putting that on here. It was mad & off the wall & a little bit crazy but brilliant.

But all of this being said one thing stood out above everything else. CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD! He stole the show in the most epic way ever. Anyone dressed in leather threatening blackmail otherwise he will throw a dog off a castle while wearing heels, is my kind of villain. I loved him & he made the film as mad as it was. Give me that & i am in.

It did its job at the end of day. IT made me feel really festive & get into the Christmas spirit which was what it was meant to do. A typical British film that knows it is a little bit crap but know its place, & for that reason its just what the doctor ordered.

To quote Craig… Fab u lose darling, absolutely gorgeous.
