America got this 6 weeks ago & somehow iv managed to avoid spoilers have no idea how but I have so yay good for me. Time to go to the mcu to see what’s left (can we talk about infinity wars properly yet people?).

Thank god odeon did a special preview on a Thursday wahay cheers for that guys. Was half full though which was pretty good.

Trailers we had venom the new venom that came out like the day before. It looks so good but any child seeing that is now very scared indeed it’s a bit intense. Then we had Johnny English, the equalizer 2 (need to do my homework) & the spy who dumped me.

& then the film start & oh man it was good. Like it’s different to the rest of them but oh it was flying high (pun was so intended there).

I got what I wanted more of in the first one there was more Michael Pena so happy about that. I love his rants & his moments & tangents they are perfect. So are his two mates but Pena gets properly drawn into this one.

Paul Rudd knocked it out of the park as usual. A proper performance from him especially when he channels someone else haha.

I like the fact there was no real villain in this everyone had just cause for what they were doing, except one guy but he was more there as a distraction & to look untrustworthy. At the end it always went back to the parent child relationship which is nice for marvel to recognise that a bit more, even in cases where it wasn’t a proper parent.

The little cars & that pes dispenser yes more of that please people. Also that suit case is brilliant.

I had a couple of big belly laughs watching it but not enough. That being said my face at the end hurt from giggling all the way through & smiling.

Stan Lees Cameo was a little bit wasted if I’m honest shame. I know he can’t be important in all of them but he could have been more there. Also it gives me a plot while for infinity wars, but I’ve just answered that myself lol. My bad. If you know you know.

Stay for the end credits just for the noise your cinema will make after the first one & then they will stay for number 2 which comes with a ? after it. The noise my screen made was worth the money alone. It was brilliant. So please don’t leave stay for them.

It stays true to the original & is a proper stand alone which I wasn’t entirely expecting. Okay yes it does have its place but this makes ant man credible on its own without just being apart of the mcu.

I bloody loved it it was so clever & good & funny & I can’t fault it. Shame the world now has to wait until February for the next MCU film I need Captain Marvel now.
