Im going to try & do this like cinema club so bear with peoples. Trying not to spoil as it only came out on friday.

I dont have prime, but my parents do. My pops is out tonight & im driving him around, as a thank you in advance of the decorating he is going to help me with next week. So im keeping mama company & we are going to watch Everybodys Talking About Jamie. It was either this or the new Cinderella, which we will do another night. But im really looking forward to this. Its very high on my yearly list & she doesnt know much about it apart from the brief few bits ive told her so this should be fun. Im so looking forward to it.

So any film you cry at a completely different part to your mama at is a good film. We were both ruined at different points & it was so beautiful, & heart breaking & you just so felt for them all & just wanted to lean into the TV & hug them.

Max Harwood was amazing as Jamie, he really was. He had so much to do & such shoes (pun so intended) to fill. He was brilliant & made me smile & laugh so, so much. What a guy.

Richard E Grant was amazing too. I mean the man can do no wrong in 2021 can he. But his story is wonderful, he reprieve & then when he is in drag (its in the trailers thats not a spoiler) he looked fantastic. When legs that man has got. I mean he said he learnt all his drag from watching Ru Paul. I mean learn from the best darling, he rocked it.

All the teenage stuff they get up to in the film (other than the Drag & randomly bursting into a musical number every 10 mins) is so what British teenagers do. It was actually pretty spot on for once well done film, very well done. So often they actually get that wrong, but her so right.

All the songs were fantastic & had a hell of a story to them, they all just felt right with everything.

The mother sun relationship was brilliant, relay moving & really true. You did actually sense that from them, it wasnt forced. Sometimes in teen based films, it can be but here, in the highs & the lows of the relationship it just hit off. That is good acting.

Some of the shoes in the film, but mainly the red ones (again in the trailer) were amazing. I mean i struggle to dance in heels & sometime even walk in them so some of those shoes year thats skill.

The story was really good too. The baddies werent true villains they were just misunderstood trying to get their point across in a bad way. Everyone got there just deserts but in a lovely way.

I liked the end too. Just to prove that you know life goes on & continues no matter what happened yesterday.

We Laughed we cried & we smile. We had a bloody good time. Yea i am so happy ive seen that. Time to actually go & see it on the actual stage now, its coming to Brighton instead of a panto at christmas.

So glad ive seen it & loved it.
