Spoilers well not really it’s one of the worlds greatest films.

Unless you are 5 you have seen toy story, seriously I struggle to meet anyone who hasn’t. If you are over 5 & you haven’t ask your parents or guardian to put this on or go watch it on dvd your streaming service sky cinema whatever. It’s the moment animation changed forever.

Plot synopsis toys wake up when kids aren’t around, & on Andy’s birthday party he gets a new buzz light year action figure which replaces woody his cal boy doll as his favourite toy. Buzz believes he’s a real person but woody just wants to get shot of him. After attempting to trap Buzz he falls out the window & the other toys turn on Woody. Woody & Buzz both then become lost toys & try to get home but end up at there next door neighbours sids who tortures toys. Buzz then realised he is a toy but is then tied to a rocket to explode. Woody with the rest of the toys in the house torture Sid & escape, but Andy is moving house. After a couple of failed attempts to get back to the van they light the rocket to catch up. Buzz saves them by detaching the rocket & they fly to the Car to be reunited with Andy.

& if that doesn’t sell it to you I don’t know what will… oh this might Tom Hanks in Woody! Yep it was my first exposure to Tom Hanks & probably changed my life forever. He is the perfect Woody he really is. The animated voice the sorrow the meaning. He really does bring Woody to life. & yes that was an intended sentence.

Then Tim Allen is Buzz & that’s inspired the over the topness of it all & the down fall. It really is quite something to watch, especially his mrs Nesbit bit, which is followed by the kitchen floor reset… well upper landing actually.

Can we also discuss Buzz being a Vulcan due to his hand singable during the you are a toy bit at the gas station. You are a sad strange little man & you have my putty fare well. I really want to say that to someone one day & mean it I really do. I’ve wanted too since I was 7.

This is also the first pixar film… therefore no easter eggs to hunt for no extended world for it to live in. This started it.

Why when Buzz think he is real does he collapse & become a toy. If he thought he was a space ranger why wasnt he going around all the time to everything going i come in peace.

I love those little green aliens they are so cool.

Its just a bloody brilliant film & it started off something which changed kids films forever. Its just a must for you all so i dont really need to review any more of it.
