I’m not going to say spoiler because this film is older than me so if your over the age of 11 ,which is the ages I was when I first saw this film, & you still haven’t watched it, this is your own fault.

A classic comedy I still laugh at the exact same points when ever I see this film as I did 14 years ago. I now probably do laugh more than I did then as some of the innuendo would have gone over my head. Such as… Nice Beaver, thanks I just had it stuffed. See your already smiling aren’t you.

Leslie Nielsen is sorely missed but I do believe this deride is his best work, scary movie not so good airplane is funny but he’s a secondary character. Here he’s in charge ish well kinda. You know roughly what’s going to go wrong but it’s funny to get through the extra hilarity before the main bit kicks in.

I don’t know what I’m aloud to say about OJ Simpson, so I may just leave it there don’t want any super injunctions thrown at me. He is good in the 5 secs he’s in the film.

When Jane turns up at his house that whole part is just too ridiculous from boiling a roast, slipping into something more comfortable, all the way up to practising safe sex. But it’s thing like this that are just so funny. Even later on when Frank mentions faking his orgasm as he thinks Jane’s not in love with him.

The bady is bland boring & just their for either world domination & or the money. Pepshmire is the only villain worth noting he turns up in number 3. Remember this people. But the main idea for killing the queen, I’m surprised bones tried to do this in real life. Hypnosis & beepers to try and kill people. Yea that’s now feasible.

Why does everyone think killing our queen is a good idea. 1) if you attempt to kill her surely God will save her 2) she’s not got that much power in her gloves 3) if you killed her you’d then need to kill the rest of them too 4)why are the actors that play the queen really bad & stereo typed see Hollywood you’ve not thought this through have you.

Also surely the queen would have her own security or the national guard not some weird local police squad who fuck everything up.

My favourite part of the film is the driving school car chase. I can’t explain it as I’m laughing while typing thinking about it. Just YouTube it people all they way up to the fireworks & then try to remove the smile from your face.

In the end all is good the American views of the film get to watch a baseball game… Yea I know cricket would be better… Our queen doesn’t die, the bad guy get caught, our hero gets engaged to the girl & OJ is alive. A typical comedy film.

Yes comedy films are now much smarter & clever than this, however without the naked gun would these films exist? A classic rofl of a ride, that will still make you smile for hours once the film has finished.
