This is it the last cinema outing of the year, we started with Star Wars so lets end that way as well, why not.
First of all as much as i love my Odeon card & my cinema in town, £11:95 for 2D Star Wars three weeks after it opens at not peak to time ridiculous. My Pops doesnt want to pay that much to see a film, thats ridiculous. So i paid & we went to the Connought in town instead for £6.50 each.
also considering it had been out for three weeks, it was pretty full. This is probably due to one being an amazing film & that Carrie Fisher died on Tuesday night. RIP Princess.
The trailers were okay, not sure where Worthing got there Live By Night Trailer it made it look shocking. Dad also couldnt get his head around Liam Neeson being in every film. For me it was Andrew Garfield.
I am fully aware that now disney own Star Wars they are just making these films so that we will go and see them, so they get a fuck load of money. I am fully aware of that, so is my dad & so is my mum who sat there and went im not going its going to confuse me so much as to where we are in the time frame.
It was really good, As far as fast pace scifi films go its up there. Its a proper spy thriller, where i did keep thinking everyone was going to turn on someone else every 2 minutes.
Android K-25O stole the show much like BB8 did last year, if im getting a miserable droid its going to be him. He even got to say the i got a bad feeling about this line.
The rest of the cast were really good to & you really did feel they were in this together, as none of them except Felicity Jones (and the obvious Mad & Forrest who were only in it for 5mins) are huge stars yet & this will just give them the next platform for it. They all can do it & be the next big thing.
Was so nice to see North Greenich Tube station look so good, that was nice.
The CGI to bring people back from the dead, on new actors omfg wow, that was brilliant.
& then of course my Lordship was back & still was amazing. I bow to you Lord Vader you rule.
without ruining it for people the person with the last line, kinda somed up the feeling of the whole world, and made it of the moment, but i will get to that when its on dvd, later in the year, but when you watch it you will know why.
There were lots of easter eggs which were cleaver, but again thats something for you to all spot & get back to me about.
If disney are going to keep this up for the next few films with Star Wars, i am more than happy to be brain washed by them & go & see the films. So is dad he enjoyed it too.
