Do pugs not drugs
It’s back to back film Thursday yes peoples. I’ve had fish & chips on the beach & now im in the cinema waiting for Patrick to start. So this is going to be fun also this is actually the last time i can see this film as its only been available in my local odeon for 4 days.
There arent many people in here if im honest maybe another 6 people & me. That was it.
Trailer we had mission impossible, Mamma Mia, Christopher Robin & the girl in the spiders webb(i think thats right) & the spy who dumped me ( cant believe i nearly forgot that). A weird mix but you know.
& then the film started… & it was thoroughly enjoyable it really was a good entertaining loving film with its heart in the right place. Okay yes it was a little predictable but i needed that in my life at that time.It properly summed up the modern world whats expected & the life of a millennial.
That dog who was Patrick was sooooooooooooooo cute. Seriously so lovely & squidgy you just wanted to give him a squeeze & im a cat person out of the two animals.
Wasnt expecting to get emotional at all watching it, but i did at the end. I really did. I was sitting there crying going oh come on love you knew this was going to happen, but it just got me.
There were some really good twists about certain people & who they effected further down in the film & how they then resolved around to actually still be good or not be as weird or boring as you thought they were going to be.
All of british comedy had cameos in the film, okay fully expected Jennifer Saunders to be in it, but they just all kept popping up. Seriously there were hundreds. Still cant see Emily Atack other than Charlotte from the inbetweeners, its bad i know but its true.
It was really funny, not just the dog bits where he does mad or does something stupid, but there were lots of funny bits between the people too. I properly laughed like belly laughed at a couple of points.
2 issue with this film though. First is her Sister in the film. She was so up her arse putting her sister down the entire time & being a complete bitch & treating her like shit. I would have punched her in the face, she really did my head in & was a horrific person. Seriously she can do one.
Also & this is to film & tv in general, stop showing schools especially high schools the way you do, okay yes the point of this was she ended up trusting those kids & they trusted her, but be a bit more realistic people with films based in schools please. Dont go for the easy options.
This film is seriously 92 minutes of pure joy & smiles. Yes its predictable & yes there are moment you go oh man really were doing that like the dinner scene, but the reason you say that is because its the world we live in. Its well worth a watch people, i thoroughly recommend you go & see it & take you kids aged 8 & above to it as well.
