and so the day has come… i am finally seeing Inception on the big screen & just thinking about doing that is making me very emotional. Its the GOAT, Its the KING & IN NOLAN WE TRUST! I seriously can not explain how i hyped i am for this.

£3.50 at the dome on mondays is always a huge draw & they have now reverted back to there standard pricing so now with my cineworld card, i will only frequent them on a monday or if friends want to go with me. for a ten year old film it did draw the people in id say there was about 40 to 50 people in there to watch the 10th anniversary of the film, but they may have also been there for another reason which we will get to in a minute.

Not many adverts or trailers, a reversing boat (10days) no time to die & black widow.

& then the film didnt start… Part of the inception 10th anniversary is an exclusive behind the scenes look at TENET! I know the hell! OMG that was worth the money on its own. 15 minutes of pure joy & trying to explain but not explain to you whats going on in this film. I seriously cant wait to go & see it, its going to be epic. The fact that they shut the equivalent to the road by my house for 3 weeks to film one scene is huge. John David had to learn everything forwards & backwards wow. I mean i think Nolans just going crazy here. The fact that crashing an actual plane is cheaper than CGIing it. Oh bring it on… I have now gone home from the cinema & booked my seat for opening night of TENET!!!! EXCITINGMENT!

& then the film still didnt start… instead it said welcome to Inceptions 10th anniversary screening a film made by me Christopher Nolan. & there he was on screen for 5 minutes talking about why hes re-released all his films, why cinema is important & why he wanted to be the film that reopened cinemas & why inception is such an important piece of work & how he feels embarrassed that it was voted by many people critics & lists as one of the best films of the last decade. Just stunning. I can listen to that man all day. That was worth £10 of anyone’s money.

& then finally the film started…. here is my actual INCEPTION review from a few years ago but im still going to go one about it as i still have soo soo soooooooooo much to say about it. I mean after all it is the greatest film of all time.

I cried for the first time in my life watching Inception. I have never cried watching it before. I think it was because Time was playing & it was ending & i knew those kids were going to turn around & he was going to be happy in whichever reality he was in. & it jus got me, that my perfect moment & film was about to end & i probably wont be able to see it on the big screen again for a long time. It hit like a ton of bricks.

When it actually ended you did hear a sigh oh relief from everyone as the words inception appeared on the screen from everyone, like & breath. Seriously its so intense & full on even after about 100 watches, but its enjoyable to go on that ride & go so deep every time. Its also really hard to sit in a room full of people & see that word appear at the end & not yell out OH FUCK YOU NOLAN! It really is.

The biggest collective response from the auditorium was when Tom Hardy says the infamous, you mustnt be afraid to dream a little bigger darling, & then produces that gun & blows the shit out of everything. Good life moto, probably one nolan does go by.

The sound & the size of it even though it was only my local cinema & not an imax was epic though. It just all felt so huge & was completely worth the wait to see it on that size a screen. It felt like event cinema.

While i was composing myself before i left a couple walked past the end of my row & said well ive seen that 5 times now & i still dont understand it… THE HELL! How can you not get Inception. Okay yes i got in 10mins into my second watching of it but really 5 times & still you have no idea come on people.

Oh its just pure perfection, there is nothing wrong with it at all & it just fills me with so much joy. & now ive seen it in this scale i can say that i have been waiting for a train to take me far away…

IN NOLAN WE TRUST & i trust him after seeing that preview to make TENET this decades Inception. Bring on the new film. Thank you so much Christopher, for making my life.

I cant wait to get my spinning top tattoo in a few weeks now.

INCEPTION IS THE GREATEST FILM EVER MADE FACT!
