Okay lets do this.

so its cinema club time again & after getting panned in America, bad box office in America & a bit of a drumming here, it was my time to see what really did happen to King Arthur, & his legend of the Sword.

I know the films been out for about 2 & a half weeks & some people have seen it, but why was it on in screen one with just me watching it. Seriously it was just me. Did mean i had some proper good sniggers at stuff, & did thank the projectionist when the film was over, but still that huge screen just for me wow. I still sat in my seat tho… if anyone is ever in that seat i will drag them out of it.

Trailer wise i loved loved loved loved loved the 8 5sec Dunkirk trailers & then the long one at the end that was amazing proper suspense. Love it hurry up July.

Then there was the baby driver (yep im sold) The mummy (not so much) Spider man (oh yes) Apes (hmm nope) Transforms (definite no) &  then the hit-mans bodyguard which i had heard a little about but not seen any trailers for… im sold take me to it looks amazing & hysterical & Ryan Reynolds & Samuel L Jackson are getting shot at constantly yes.

There was a Baywatch trailer too, but we all know im seeing that on tuesday (Rocky Time).

Right film time… Oh man do i have to write this…

HMMMMMMMM that summed it up.

Charlie Hunnam is a really wooden actor, not even Guy Ritchie & Jude Law snearing every 7 seconds could make him look good. It was painful to watch. That being said Jude Law was on fire, absolutely on fire. He always works so well with Guy & it brings out the best in him. Shame that couldnt be said for Charlie.

The rest of the cast were okay (Eric Bana was a surprise). But the man who stole the show for all the wrong reasons was Guys best friend David Beckham… He actually had quite a key part being in charge of the sword, but acting isnt his thing really is it & i love the man. HE did try to do it with confidence & had a bloody good go at it, but just stick to the football & being beautiful David. When he finished i did make a loud sigh of relief, but deep down i was happy for him.

Magic Elephants wtf was all that about? & those ladys in the pond who actually were they we had no proper explanation? How did they learn they could have power as humans & us now not have them?

Guy is the king of the explaining in advance while actually showing the next thing & the slow mo fights. He did them very well, good directing.

What was with the dark Forest if it wasnt a forest if you get me? Why was the Tower that important?

Why was he saving up the money that was never explained?

There were too many questions on answered in this to make it make proper sense ( probably a bit like the statement i just typed) it just left you wanting to know more about the bits that your weren’t in the loop for. Tell me more.

It was a bit of a mishmash if im honest it wanted to tell the correct story, but leave out some key bits, & yet wanted to be a Guy Ritchie film.

Lets leave this review on a good note shall we it want as crap as Assassins Creed or Alice Through the Looking Glass or The Huntsman. Probably on the a little bit worse than Suicide Squad.
