Its’ Time for a Top 5 rundown
2000 was the Millennium (no bugs or huge shut down but some tent open in London called the Dome, not sure what that became as it closed on new years eve), the PS2 was released, Alex Salmond resigned as leader of the SNP (for the first time he does this again in 2014), Steve Redgrave became Britain’s greatest Olympian (mum let me stay up til 4 am to watch it) & i turned 11.

5. Billy Elliot
Saw the musical this summer cried quiet alot. Never actually seen the film but know i will love it.
4. Chicken Run
Ardmen entertainment make the big screen at last with there chicken great escape. Hilarity takes over
3. X-Men
meet some random bloke call Hugh Jackman, everything will be fine they said… oh god no what a man
2. Memento
the film that announces Christopher Nolan to the world. I have this to watch in the next couple of weeks am really looking forward to watching it.
and the best film from 2000 goes to only one movie and it is…
1. Gladiator
for once the academy got it right. I love it iv seen it all in bits & never in one sitting but by god its epic. i love it

Obvious omissions are Coyote Ugly for Adam Garcia basically, Charlies Angels which was really a bit shit but introduced me to Sam Rockwell & Cast Away god bless you Tom Hanks.
