Time for the 2020 film quiz film watching to start. & we are starting with Simon the guy who runs it, favourite film of 2018. Juliet, Naked. Im really intrigued about this. Im not sure the rest of my lot are as excited for it, but here we go.

Why did i put this down on my blog to review. why did i start writing this on my way to my friends to group watch this. ITS BAD! & im not just saying that. I really wanted to enjoy it & get my head into it & feel for it but i sat there watching it not enjoying any of it. Not because it was awkward or anything but it just all fel way to forced & noone was likeable in it & i was really happy when it was actually over.

My friends hated it like completely, so when i said yea it wasnt very good they were all quite relieved if im honest. I’ve sat here since & taken part in the quiz for this film (which we did really well at) & ive thought about the film & i actually think its worse now looking back at it then when i watched it.

I liked the emailing bit that was quite cool. yea that was good. Its not original but it was the best bit of the film. That & when Chris O’Dowd says hes Stevie Wonder when hes actually introduced to Tucker. The only other light in this film is when hes moaning because he has no batteries to put in his walkman so she takes hers out of her vibrator. The look on his face is good.

It kinda has a false ending too, you watch something & think ah & then something else happens & then it abruptly ends. WTF… no there was nothing to make the end feel like we were approaching it fully.

None of the characters at all except that kid JAckson are likeable but even him you just want to yell at him oh grow up. Noone is relatable or honest or realistic & this is all meant to be normal life, no fuck off noone has this as a normal life at all.

Oh im going to stop writing its pissing me off writing about this film & thinking about it. I want ot be happy right now & not feel down & this is putting me in a bad place.

At least we did okay at out film quiz i guess. Sorry Simon this isnt for me.

The films hacked me off so much ive not even done a synopsis for you all to enjoy.
