For all of those expecting a spooky or scary film for this time of year. I’m afraid this is as far as we will be getting. I don’t do horror films, & its not because I’m scared of them, it’s because when I was younger I’d rather watch something else other than that, it has no real interest to me. A psychological thriller is amazing, but horror nope. Sorry please don’t hate me.
The main reason I purchased this film originally was because I secretly wanted to be trapped on a plane with nowhere to go, with Cillian Murphy. Is that too much to ask? Even if he is trying to blackmail me. I would be a bit freaked out but other than that there’s no reason to complain about it.
He is proper psycho. I do want to punch him in the face every 2mins & tell him what a bastard he is & how he’s pure evil. But then you hear that voice & look in his eyes & all is forgiven for 3secs. He plays him so well I wouldn’t want to cross Jackson either.
Rachel McAdams has had a bad day but she could do with a bit more manning up if I’m honest. I would hope that if I was in that situation I would be able to go & tell someone about it if you were that desperate you would do that no matter what cost it was.
The casting if Brian Cox as her dad is weird he doesn’t really add anything, he is literally there to be a target to be killed. Which begs the question did they also wait for him to be knocking his house about & removing walls when they decide to try to kill him, if he hadn’t been decorating everything would have been much more simple.
How did she get out of the airport? She left everything on the plane, including passport & ticket. In the UK you can’t even buy a coffee in the terminal without showing one. That’s far to stupid.
What if when she called to move the rooms for the senator, they did go to the next hotel & not stay there she’s done her end of the job so that would have been unfair. Also the guys that went to the fishing boat to check it out would have stayed with it to make sure nothing happened.
They also would have not all survived the explosion there would have been at least one death in that hotel. Also after a couple of hours while the building is still unsafe they let the guests back in wtf no.
It’s a good film it’s more the film makers mistakes about a couple of obvious things that irritate me. But at the end of the day I’d still be happy to be trapped on a plane with Cillian Murphy.
