Spoilers

I don’t have a memory story about this one unlike the previous two, I did see it in the cinema tho.

Potter now gets darker as the books along with the target age group have grown up a bit. Step forward the film that most people feel is the best indivual film of the series (as number 7a & 7b doesn’t count as it’s split).

My favourite scene in this film is one that is 2seconds long right at the start, when Harry has arrived at the leaky cauldron. Sitting in the corner stirring his coffee using magic while reading the paper, is Ian Brown. It’s a blink and you miss it moment as the camera pulls across to Harry, but there he is. There are millions of people who have never noticed this so I’m pointing it out to you so the next time you watch it you will spot it.

The night bus for wizards is just amazing, Lenny Henry as the head navigating Ernie, that little old lady & the fact the bus shrinks & squeezes in to get past the vehicles. I want to go on this bus it looks so much fun.

Other cameos from dawn French & Emma Thompson is just a nice additional bonus.the films never feel over filled with stars.

Right there is one huge plot hole. Fred & George had the map in their 1st year & used it lots. Why the hell did they not spot or worse tell Ron that there was a man called Peter Pettigrew sleeping with him each night or sitting on his lap? That’s evil or just plane wrong.

Alan Rickmans professor Snaps once again is a complete star. If I ever here some one say just turn the page… My head automatically tells me it’s 394. He gets beaten up a bit in this one too, which for the people who believed he was evil at this point must have loved it.

Then there Jim Gordon… The saviour of Gotham who sacrifices a lot to protect the people he loves. Oops sorry wrong film. Serious Black the underdog who wanted to revenge his loved ones deaths ( maybe he’s batman) anyhow Gary Oldman turning up to be in the series if not for too long is a master stroke.

The way they filmed the true events & the time Turner ones was just amazing, truly fantastic. Hats off to everyone involved, on of cinemas truly best pieces of work. So much so that this year for my sister’s birthday I purchased her a time Turner, unfortunately it doesn’t work in real life.

Hermione hitting Draco is just amazing too. However apparently Emma did break Tom’s nose bless him, must have been a good punch.

This is not my favourite potter film (as 7 doesn’t count due to splitting it) it’s my second. I do love this one to death through, so I hope you are all ready for the Goblet of Fire. Things are going to go a bit EPIC!
