Thursday walk in the rain & along a shut north street to the cinema which will remain closed for all of 5 weeks. God that’s going to be odd when it’s fully reopened.

Screen 1 you say for this the biggest at the odeon cool… & All for just me. Yep I was the only person in the cinema for this at 5:30 & it remained that way. I just don’t get that sometimes why show this in your large screen 1 when you’ve probably got an indi or low key film in screen 8 full. Oh well can’t complain really.

Trailer wise there’s a film about an actress who goes to Liverpool. She’s in love with Jamie Bell who teaches her to dance which is cool & then his mum is Julie Walters… I’m sold happy to go watch it now.

Then it was Christopher Robin, then breath with Andrew Garfield & his 27 accents & then finally Brannahs Orient Express which looks so intriguing. Iv not seen the original(not my fault btw it’s never on Sky or film 4 & it’s not a film my parents have made me watch if you get me). So yeah up for all of those today.

Well let’s be honest even if this film was crap it would still be better than mother on tueaday(sorry Jen I do still love you girlie) but it was a really sweet lovely little film.

Judy is Dench. She’s a brilliant Queen Victoria properly selling it & loving every second she’s acting. Proper traditional oh yeah let’s do it work.

That being said Eddie Izzard gave the best performance in the film. I really wanted to slap h & tell him to piss off & let the queen be, but nah he’s was evil. & I love Eddie & I never thought I would ever have that opinion of him. Classy acting Sir.

Every time Gupta is in a film I just sit there & go where’s angelos doesn’t matter. Even when he picked up his bafta earlier in the year I was like I hope he’s got a Sainsbury’s bag to put that it. I don’t think I will ever get over that. He is a good actor it would just be nice if films give him a larger role in future instead of just the friend or side kick unlike tv who loves him. Especially the BBC.

It’s so nice to look at how they edited the bit of Osbourne House & Windsor Castle to make them look older. I know they are preserved to a point but still. I always think it’s nice to have been somewhere that the film is being made. It adds realness to it.

Mangos really it’s off hahaha

Oh & that Jelly

Who was that Scottish doctor in the film. I can’t remember the characters name so I can’t google him, but he sounded like Dougie Anderson. I know it’s not him but it did really really sound like him.

What a sweet little bfi film that was. Sad funny sweet mean & to the point. Didn’t really hide away from it’s problems which was kinda the theme for the film really. Well worth a watch for some good acting & a little history look up.
