Everyone loves an Easter egg right? Not a chocolate one but an actual film one. So I went to see the incredibles twice in 5 days completely freaked out again for a second time, & went egg hunting oh it was good.
Trailers were the exact same as the monday no real shock there. But because i went on a friday there were a lot more people there than the monday.
I properly cried at the short like oh man it was embarrassing. It was not good, i mean its good im very emotional but it was bad. Therese an Easter egg here too people, the films credits are dedicated to all the babies born into the pixar family while the film was being made.
That being said what made it worse was the family sitting in front of me in the cinema. 1 mum & her 14,12 & 8 year old i would say, they talked between themselves for the first 20mins of the film & throughout the short & first 5 minutes of the film the mum was texting on her phone. Didnt even reduce the brightness it was bad really bad. I did mention this to the odeon when i left.
So East Egg hunt, lets do this. You know what i think of the film you all read my last review. If not heres the link https://popcornforone.co.uk/cinema-club/cinema-club-the-incredibles-2/ as Loki would say tada
Im so angry i didnt get the pizza planet van first time around. It was in obvious sight & was huge, absolutely like here you go one van for you. What an idiot i am.
I saw lightning mcqueen too & the lamp (not sure on that one got a pretty good idea as to where it is), but couldnt find Buzz, Woody, the bouncy ball or Sully.
Jack Jack when he walks down that corridor copies Edna down to a tea including the hand gestures & eye movement its beautiful. proper amount of man hours was spent on that. Also the fact that Edna likes Mozart & plays it to him to encourage everything, thats what happened in the first film. AHHHHH MIND FREAK!!!!! It bloody works.
Samuel L Jackson at one point nearly says mother fucker thats brilliant, good editing pixar.
Its funnier the second time around definitely people, its worth going to see it again on the big screen if you get the chance. Easily the saviour of children’s animation this year, hand over that oscar now.
