Its my last day of annual leave, so i plan on going to see the last of the 3 films that came out this week which was on my hitlist (yea its been a lot) so its time to go & see Marry Me. A Rom Com i know. & its the day after valentines day, so im hoping to be swooned by it & become a softy that i know i can be.

i saw this at 11:50… at cinemworld… time to guess how many other people were in the screening with me… NOONE! I had the screen all to myself. Honestly felt a bit bad about that, but hey it was nice, very nice to get that.

Trailers… secrets of Dumbledore (yes to sexy Dumbledore) Phantom of the Open (now booked up) Morbius (yes) & Lost City (im now so up for this its looks madness). So yea i very happy with all of that.

& then the film started… & it was very predictable, but i actually really enjoyed it & went awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww at the end of the film. So as far as im concerned the rom com did its job.

So whos heard of Cinema Sins? They are epic. One of my favourite film YouTube channels. They say everything thats wrong with films in about 15mins or so & have a counter. One of their favourite things to do it to say roll credits when the title of the film is said. In the film Marry Me they sing the really catchy song called Marry Me (which starts of by going Marry Me Marry Me Marry Me ooooooh Marry Me Marry me Marry Me). & I know cant wait for Cinema sins to do a video on this film. Its going to be hilarious. They will either give it 100 sins or do a bonus round at the end of the video as the song is sang or reference a lot. Its a bloody catchy song tho (its not Bruno).

JLo has still got it. She knows shes not the best actress in the world, but she picks stuff where shes going to shine & shows her off. Okay yes this is a film about celebrity & music & dancing which is what she is, but youve still got to make that believable to the other actors in the film. She looks epic & she acts really well.

Owen Wilson was really good casting as her husband she picks (its in the trailers dont moan) He is given the most borring job in the world, but he is good at it. I still wanted him to get a jet Ski. He did at one point say WOW. not like WOOOOOOOOOW but he still said it. See Matthew thats the service we need. Being in the cinema on my own when he said that i did actually go YESSSSSSSSSS! & then apologised to the projectionist.

The whole social media & press side of the whole relationship & how its used & what they do was out of control but so true to celebrities right now. They got that spot on & it was very intrusive but was clever to show that you know do you really want this style of life all the time, its not all its cracked up to be this fame thing. Oh god that reminds me of a job interview i went to almost a decade ago which i didnt get the job for.
You could also imagine that reaction for the non famous person too, to suddenly be thrown into the spot light.

Jimmy Fallon wasnt acting was he at all.

That wedding dress was over the top but was so beautiful. It really was. She looked lovely how could you not fall in love with her in that moment.

Its a Rom Com so its really easy to work out after they get married as to what is going to happen & how its going to effect there lives & whats going to happen at the end. Is it a Rom Com with out a epiphany & a dash to get somewhere important.

The guy from the other school was the bunny policeman from Free Guy wasnt it?

Good life lessons about trust & being okay to fail & accepting who you are & how much you are willing to change & learn for others.

As i left the cinema i did say thankyou to the projectionist (you know being the only person in there) & i did leave with a smile after having a nice time & escaping for a couple of hours from the world. & that is what a mid level rom com should do. Im not talking Notting Hill or Love Actually levels of Rom Com but were talking Definitely Maybe & Two Weeks notice level. Perfect for a date night or to sit on the sofa with you partner or your friends drinking wine & going awwww.
