The first Megan film was batshit 3 years ago, so im expecting this one to be the exact same if im honest, lets be honest. Its going to be weird but im sure its also going to make me laugh. So lets do this on a friday after work, air con is our friend atm.

Id say there was maybe 30 people in my 5:40 screening with me, loads of people in their early 20s im guessing they were all young when the first one came out & went to see it then.

Trailers, Black Phone, Weapons, Conjuring, Together & Bring her back & then the special Jurassic park get your free shiz which isnt free advert.

& then the film started… yep still weird as fuck.

So was she ironically sent to the sunken place? Was that just a joke set up just for me? because i was laughing at that point of the movie, but the rest of the cinema… dead quiet. I love that they did that to her. It was like yessssssss.

This isnt a horror film, its an action film. Im not sure the switch worked but i guess they had to make people want to go watch it again didnt they. The fights were good but there was a lot less suspense in this one compared to the last one from my memory. A bold choice which at times did pay off but at other time felt like hmmm id actually much prefer to be a little creeped out by this.

I like the fact it still went bat shit at points for no reason at all. Especially when Megan sings. That had us all laughing quite a lot. It wasnt but was also so needed & its always there to start off act 3 which is always so good. Yea its weird but its like there not being a fight in a bridget jones movie. It has to happen.

There was a brilliant line when the villain was spilling their evil plan near the end (which i so called when that person turned up by the way) that 2 characters were going to die as they arent useful & arent sure why they are there. Which for the film itself was so true as well. They added little to the plot so i loved that it called that out. It also called out how someone struggling can afford a house like that & all the stuff. Yea thank you movie for once for saying that. We cant all afford to live a life like that.

All hail paper clips & clippie. Thats all im going to say.

Was not expecting Jermain Clement to be in this to basically be Vladislav the poker in an alternative universe. Disturbing & wrong but also funny.

The actually AI villain was a bit meh, but lets be honest we are more invested in megan.

Why did they have to go to a comic con, they didnt even create anything meme able there at all.

I am now intrigued as to where these films go from here. It was still bat shit & there were still some deaths & violence, but i kind of expected a bit more from it. Its weirs but in a charming way.
