I’ve done my home work & watched all the trailers & minis & shorts & the interviews & i am Deadpool 2 ready. Come on Ryan dont make this crap please, ive invested a lot of time into this over the last 8 weeks, make it good.

Deadpool kind of passed me by first time round & im now angry at that. When it initially came out i didnt have my Odeon card & he wasnt apart of the MCU so i wasnt going to waste my money on another superhero film that i wasnt invested in & since then its all been Deadpool Deadpool Deadpool. So yeah ive watched the first one in the last 2 weeks to make sure im up to speed & even Mama Popcorn enjoyed it. She said thats the kinda super hero she can get on bored with (cant wait to show her the hit-mans body guard now shes going to love that). So yea lets go see this.

Screen 1 was a quarter full when i walked it at 5:15 & by the time the film started id say was 70% full not bad, especially for an odd time on a Wednesday (see thats waht two for Tuesdays/Wednesdays does Sherlock Gnomes learn from it).

Trailers we had Solo (cant wait to treat Pops to that) & then it was Jurassic World & even though its free i know the concept Dinosaurs still arent doing it for me im sorry its not my cuppa tea at all. Im not sold. I really have no interest in it at all. I know im still likely to end up seeing it because everyone else it but only if its on at like 4:40 on a Friday so it doesn’t take up my life. & then we had Oceans 8 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS im so ready for this film its ridiculous. We also had the new Ant Man Trailer which someone behind me went hang on (infinity war spoiler infinity war spoiler)??? they had a point you know.

& then the film started… & it was exactly what i expected. It just kept it going from the first one, just with a bigger budget & a whole load of Whoop Ass.

Ryan was brilliant really brilliant. Hes so good, he really is hes just the perfect Deadpool. You cant imagine anyone else playing Iron Man or Wolverine, same for Deadpool now even though you dont often see his face, but thats whats happened with the character. Hes just in charge.

Some of the cameos are brilliant, obviously some are spoilers but wow they go for it. Properly do. Like they all just wanted to be in it brilliant.

One liners & breaking the wall as always are on point, as ever no problem with that at all. I like the fact we have the odd flashback kinda thing & the talking to the audience. Love that. Some of the put downs of over films or pop culture as just stunningly hilarious. I mean George Micheal getting a tribute haha thats so fitting he would have enjoyed that.

I liked the fact we had a bad guy, but i didnt actually want to call him a baddie, as i was siding with him quite a bit i wanted him to do well. He had just cause for his vengeance. It also came with good morals too.

Someone after i saw this film said its the first super hero film to have an LGBTQ relationship in it & that it was a ground breaking moment & i had to seriously sit here & go did it. I just took it for granted really. Coming from a city that really celebrates this, its just second nature so when i read that it kinda made me think that my city of Brighton & Hove is so far ahead of certain parts of the world or the UK where we have to point this out. I just kinda accepted it.

Stay for the credits people, i did & so should you.

oh & the taxi guy is just the best.

There were a couple of bits where i was full on laughing & the rest of the cinema wasnt or they then caught up 4 seconds later. Felt bad that i was sitting there ROFLing  & everyone else was just going hmmm. Whats up with them.

If you enjoyed the first Deadpool this is the perfect follow up. To quote the trailer, it lives up to the hype plus plus. Its what i wanted & it delivered on everything that makes Deadpool Deadpool. Cant really ask for much more than that really can you?
