A double header yeah why not from one end of the spectrum to the other. Time to become a small child once again & watch Christopher Robin.

Now if you have access to any of my social media platforms you will know the story of the two old dears in this cinema who properly pissed me off. I have now recovered & am now over it, however manners maketh man… so get some baby boomers & dont just blame us millennial all the time.

A pretty full cinema didnt have to sit next to anyone but it was pretty close to it lucky the last people who arrived that i saw, went to the premier seats behind me & i didnt have to nudge along.

Trailers we had The Clock in the Walls again (nah) The NutCracker (that looks odd but cool) Fantastic Beast (im always sold on Potter duh) Johnny English (yep) & Small Foot ( yes im seeing that) so not too bad kid films not too bad at all.

& then the film started… Someone had warned me before i went to see it that i would be a bit emotional… wasnt really expecting this heart wrench.

I cried twice, at the same scene repeating itself at different point. I knew i was going to cry the first time but the second i was saying to myself your not going to fall for this again love are you come on your… too late your crying. & its was just so warm & emotional that i sat there well into the credits having a tear up.

Thats McGregors best performance in years. It really was. We’ve had a lot of animation & people recently its very in for kids, but his performance & that Disney magic just made this so much more believable, even though we all know they arent real.

Now we all have our favourites when we were little for Winnie the Pooh dont we come on be honest one of you must have liked Owl surely?! no okay. Well i was an Eeyore girl always have been always will. I always related to him when i was little (i wasnt a depressed child he just always knew something bad may happen & that if the sun came out it was a happy day). But now as an adult i relate to him even more. I have become Eeyore.

Im so glad Tigger gets to do the whole song that was nice & him getting freaked out by the other Tiggers is brilliant.

Some of Pooh saying are just mumbo jumbo & the rest are sheer brilliance. They really are just think about it.

Cant get my head around Mark Gattis being in a kids film thats really freaky. That shouldnt be allowed. I mean he was good still but hes always evil & dodgy in these films.

It has some proper life lessons & morals for people of all ages from a small child to an elderly person (except those 2 women idiots) but seriously theres messages for everyone there really is. Just go back & watch it & you will see what i mean.

Disney struck gold silver bronze frankincense mere diamond & platinum with this. It is a love letter back to their past & British history & everyone should leave the cinema feeling fuzzy through joy or tears. If you didnt enjoy it you need to go spend some time with your childhood.

This is a serious contender for a golden buzzer nominee.
