Movie time

Apparently I’m mad this week film quiz Monday(we lost) England football drama Tuesday film Wednesday double film Thursday & running Friday maybe. Why not. So today’s turn it was adrift.
I think there was about 15 people in the cinema for this. Even tho I turned up bang on time I’d say there was about 10 there when I got in. Also note to odeon online or app booking system I don’t like picking my seat on your new update.
Trailers there was mission(nope) mama mia(yep) the spy who dumped me(warming to me) & one more what was it what fucking was it… oh the girl in the spiders web(nah)
& then the film started & it was better than the last castaway film I saw, not that this is very hard if I’m honest the mercy was crap.But for a basic two gander it was really good.
Is it bad that I was invested more in Richard life than I was Tammys or is that just because Sam is fucking good in everything & we need to recognise this. He does need to stop dieing or nearly dieing or being maimed in all his films though. It just too good they always punish him that’s what they do.
I like the fact it starts after the wreck & then it’s the story of them trying to get home with how they ended up there in between that was clever. That’s not a spoiler by the way we’ve all seen the trailer for it.
I know it was based on real life which is always good but because of this & knowing the crash had already happened at the star & no point did I ever feel worried or scared or in shock for the characters, which is a shame really. A film like this should make you feel that.
There was a point where I though all of the flash backs were going to be just like a holiday brochure it was just like can we stop this now please it’s a bit annoying all these beaches & travelling the world but having no pipped or money. That doesn’t happen in real life now unless you have a trust fund does it.
I wanted it to be more perilous & grittier & more tragic than it was. & I worked something out quite early on which wasn’t revealed until the end, to which someone as I left went I didn’t see that happening… it came from a mile away at 90miles an hour. You lie woman you lie.
Over all it was better than Firths but Woodley isn’t strong enough to carry this on her own Sam made her look okayish which considering this is basically her gig is a bit bad really. Come on cast away danger on a boat films up your game your losing this year badly
