This is why I have an odeon card to see films I wouldn’t usually & the spend £10 on a DVD that I may watch twice. Today this is for my sister she really wants to see this film so I’m watching it in case it’s not that good then she doesn’t have to waste her money on it.
It does look good & I can’t wait to seee if it’s actually good.
Odeon are remodelling despite last week the council approving of it being knocked down by 2018 (yea im gutted too) so you have to walk the long way round to get in or out of it, which is a pain especially in winter in the rain on a seafront with huge winds, they didnt think that through really.
Trailer wise, theres a new one for Allied which looks even more epic than before, i so need to see that film. & i cant keep watching fantastic beast trailers & going oh god hurry up i need this film now.
Id say it was half full for a tuesday, which even with meerkat offer is pretty good for an indy british film.
When i left the cinema i was starting to regret hitting my golden buzzer for film of the year… it was that good. Maybe its because its real life that makes it that good maybe that is why, & you know what happened probably did actually happen.
I want Bob, and his scarf & hes so cute.
I dont often go to covent garden, but i do always watch those street performers & i always do give them money as they usually are fantastic, but now i will think about it even more when i see them.
I cried twice, once at the obvious moment which we all knew was coming, & i was sitting there going im not going to cry im not going to cry, too late its happened. There was a woman a few seats away full on blubbing like crying like you do if your at home. The other was his scene with Anthony Head at the end of the film which really go me.
Its so lovely and heart warming and sad & i think you all need to go & see the film. Its a lovely story which is a bit crappy but has heart & soul. Maybe thats why i like it after all isnt that what being British is about.
