But rather handsome Adam, got me a refund bless him even though im not entitled to one & then said ahh do you want to see something else…
So here i am waiting for Trolls 3. Was not on my plan for today at all but here i am. Im hoping this is fun.
So there was about 8 families in there. I was the only odd one & i felt a little awkward but oh well.
Trailers, the marvels (yes) Wonka (yes) Wish (yes) & there was 1 more but i cant remember what it was for.
& then the film started… well it was better then the second film thats for sure, but lets be honest that wasnt hard.
Yea considering i was not in the mood to watch this, i mean i should have been watching something very dark & argh & acting supremacy, i had a very fun time watching this.
The whole boyband thing was very clever & good & was fun to watch & see why they did it. I mean it hit the nostalgia in me for sure. I really enjoyed that. But it does take a while for Nsync to turn up. So if thats the only reason you are there, then dont hold your hopes up for much.
This film linked to the first film much more than the sequel did. The sequel was made for the cash grab but this had more of a good story & positive vibe to the film more than the second one did. Like the Bergens were back, i had to rack my brain for a good minute going oh yes i remember them I know who they are.
Tiny Diamond… Kennan Thompson… his voice & characterisation stole the bloody show. He owned it & was easily the best bit of the entire movie for sure. He was a bit of a joke & throw away in the second one but here, he earned his stripes for sure.
I felt my toes tapping along to some of the song & remixes & feeling such a 90s vibe about it all.
The bad guys werent irritating or for the sake of it. They were probably the best written characters in the film. I mean once act 3 is over they arent memorable other than them being villains in a troll film, but i guess thats what the child target audience expect. They were evil though which is always good.
The twist you could see coming a mile off you really could so when the reveal happened its wasnt like oh my god. I guess little kids wouldnt get it but as an adult i saw it coming the second it was vaguely referenced.
Its definitely an improvement from the first film for sure. I mean its not going to be The flower moon is it, but it served a purpose & it was decent considering i was expecting it to be a complete waste of my time. Not bad trolls not bad at all.
