I mean writing this review will probably take longer than actually watching Space Jam on Netflix people so go watch it instead… or maybe not…

Basically id finished the hard watch of Chadwick acting his arse off & i needed a come down before i went to bed, so why not bug bunny & co. Also it was on netflix & the trailer the new ones come out which looks so batshit, but i am so up for any new cinema or film content right now.

The most believable thing of the entire film was the Bill Murray is just being Bill Murray & believes he could play for the NBA. Thats isnt weird at all if im honest. That is perfectly normal. & that is the most sane thing in this film.

I live how 90s kids films just gave you what you wanted very quickly if they werent disney or werent trying to be disney. Were some aliens we will steal the tunes we will steal NBA ability we will play basket ball, Michael Jordan turns up, wins basketball, life returns to normal. To the point its what were going to get & its done.

Taz cleaning the gym was epic. I actually did laugh out loud when he said lemon fresh at the end. Taz was always a favourite of mine.

Danny DeVito being the evil alien boss was good but was so wasted in total in this film hes not in it enough to grasp the roll to make the parents enjoy it & kids really dont care about his character until about 4 minutes to go & Then hes booted out of it.

Daffy duck is actually the tar of this film. I know Bugs is Bugs Bunny, but he doesnt work without Daffy being fantastic. Well done on getting that right peoples.

The magic stuff… really… i mean does this mean Jordan was on stuff, i guess not as it is just water but still.

Would those NBA guys really be that crap if they forgot to play basket ball? surely they still have some basics & motor skills. I mean if anyone threw anything at them would they just look at it like they are stupid & be like oh what do i do now. Bullshite film.

The opening credits showing Jordan’s career in basketball i do get, however its so out there & shaky & takes so long i recon its probably a good 10% of the films over all run time. I went into the kitchen & put all my washing up away & smashed a glass & cleaned it up & came back into the room to get some tissues to stop the bleeding & the credits at the start were still going, which is when i paused it as i thought god this has been on a while. I know we want to show how good Jordan is at basketball, but there a much better way to edit that together people.

I decided to have shot each time bugs said whats up doc… thank god he only said it 3 times. I have very little vodka here so i used it all.

The dog was clever & so were the kids but would they really keep it all that quiet especially once they characters had all left the TV.

Also doesnt matter how famous you are or if your even Tiger Woods, no one is digging a hole like that on a golf course.

the jokes are good for kids but there arent enough for the adults if im honest. I appreciate the tunes attitude & how its comical how some people are repaired or get hurt & are fine & how things just all in place, but a pay off for a parent is basically that Jordan is in it & that all the base ball guys are friendly to him, thats not enough.

Its not the best film i the world, no way pepe. I saw it as a kid but dont have to many memories of it from back then other than the epic song, which we now cant mention. I killed 70minutes of my evening & i smiled & laughed twice. I hope the new one i more in tune with the tunes & that its okaying to be okayish, that would be a result.
